Do Pilates help flatten your abs?

I joined a gym about 6 weeks ago and the weights are starting to tone my muscles but I really want my stomach to be flat again. They have pilate classes there twice a week and I’m thinking of going to them. Does anyone know if they do help flatten your abs?

Pilates strengthens your core muscles, not the outermost muscles such as abdominals. Pilates does tone your muscles, and works around the center(core) but it won’t give you Flat Abs.
