Calcification in the abdominal aorta?

I had a fall outside a shopping centre, I went to the doctor he then sent me to get an x-ray and it showed up that I had Calcification in the abdominal aorta.

Is this a cause for concern can anyone tell me about this?

As a matter of fact, I just found out a week ago that I had the same thing, and yes it is cause for concern.
My Dr put me on Lipitor which will desolve the calcification and the plaque build up.
Check with a good internal Dr. and ask him what you should do.
Don’t let it get to the point where you have a total blockage.
